Explaining on-road costs, interstate (nonNSW) on-road costs, how FONZ is able to assist, & transferring vehicle registrations.
If you've bought a brand new FONZ vehicle from FONZ Moto directly, and want to register it in NSW, we can give the entire cost breakdown to get you on the road. FONZ will set up your CTP insurance & register the vehicle in your name. We will check your licence and have you sign the registration form when you come to collect your vehicle.
If you've bought a brand new FONZ vehicle from FONZ Moto directly, and we are delivering it to another state for you, FONZ can supply indicative costing for on-roads in your state. All local registration & insurance costs will be dealt with directly with your local delivery partner. Please use your local government website to get an idea of the registration costs in your state.
If you've bought a pre-loved FONZ vehicle directly from FONZ, whether it's a demo vehicle or a trade-in, and you plan to register it in NSW, we can give the entire cost breakdown you will have to pay to get on the road. FONZ can secure CTP insurance & register the vehicle in your name. We will check your licence and have you sign the registration form when you come to collect your vehicle.
If you've bought a pre-loved FONZ vehicle privately, or a pre-loved FONZ vehicle from another owner via FONZ (a consignment vehicle sale), you will have 14 days from the day of collection to transfer the registration from the previous owner into your own name at a Service NSW centre, or online via the Service NSW website. All costs to transfer the ownership of vehicle will be paid to Service NSW directly. FONZ is unable to assist with CTP insurance or registration transfer in this case. Please confirm the costs associated with transferring a registration on the Service NSW website, at the time of writing, it costs $37 to transfer registration, plus 3% stamp duty of the vehicle sale value. If you wait more than 14 days to perform the transfer, an additional late fee of $172 may apply.
