Running in your Arthur

The steps for running in your new Arthur electric scooter

Below is the Running In Procedure.

IMPORTANT: it is important to get to know your Arthur before riding. Read the Arthur Owners Manual and pay particular attention to powerpack care.

Running in: Brakes & Tyres

New tyres are coated with a protective sealant. This finish can be slippery and will take approx 100kms of riding to wear away fully. During this time, take care not to accelerate too quickly or corner to heavily, especially in the wet.

Ride slowly and apply brakes gently to run in the brake pads during the first 100km. We recommend keeping speed below 45km/h during the running in period.

Running in: PowerPack

Allow 5 to 8 charge cycles for optimal PowerPack performance as the system learns your PowerPack cells. During the first 200KM do not to drop your PowerPack below 40%.
